i'd just like to thank everyone who planned for and carried out their various forms of birthday surprises for me yesterday.

in chronological order,

♥ sarah nisa! my fellow 1st march baby (: thank you for the long, but sweet birthday note and the various random/cute presents :D

♥ IXORA 02 (: the loveliest patrol! haha i completely believed yuanjun when she said, "tmr we're meeting after founders day so i can brief you about camp" and it was quite unexpected when they started singing happy birthday. (except that they kinda spoilt their surprise when yuanjun said, OMG, where's the card?!) xD haha

♥ 110 CLASS I/Cs!haha. they smartly bought me a huge chocolate cake, which they happily used to smear chocolate over my face/arms. anthea tai has many spastic photos i'm sure! and their huge carroty card! i apparently resemble the carrot picture they found, and anthea has a pic of me trying to imitate its expression...

♥ GUIDES 09 hahaha. brenda/yl/jiemin/joni running in with their "happy birhtday" balloons in the wrong order was quite hilarious! sarah and i very very smartly tried to release 1 balloon but since it was raining heavily, the balloon didn't manage to fly away and instead landed on the ground. (whoops) thank you for the nice/qianbian card :D

♥ JULIE, CELESTE, SHZEHUI, MEGAN, JIAXUAN, BECKY, XINXUAN, SARAH!
celeste's blog has enough details there, and while i wasn't exactly surprised that they'd planned something spastic for me (since they'd been excitedly telling me about how i should act surprised since they'd put in lots of effort to make it spastic), i was pleasantly shocked to see exactly HOW spastic they managed to be (for my sake, presumably), and really, it's quite touching that you guys managed to plan and put together all your 15 S_____ presents for me (: (especially the sonnets from the people who hate lit, haha!)

it was an extremely enjoyable birthday, that is, until i got home and faced that mountain of homework, but thank you everyone for putting in a considerable amount of time and effort to make sure that i had a good time, regardless of your own individual mountains of homework/commitments to face (:
